Hi everybody,

First off, I'm not sure which category this thread belongs in, but I believe the motherboard is involved somehow. Anyways, I recently built my first gaming rig and everything has been great with one exception. Whenever I'm using high internet bandwidth (ie, downloading a large/multiple files), my computer just locks up and everything connected using a usb port disconnects. After about 30 seconds, everything turns back on. I believe it has something to do with the usb wireless adapter but I have not been able to confirm it. Again, when I'm just surfing the web or watching a movie, no freezing occurs. I've tried looking for new drivers for both my motherboard and the wireless adapter but everything is up to date. I don't know much about troubleshooting so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My setup:
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz CPU
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) RAM
Samsung 840 Series120GB (SSD with OS)
Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 7200RPM HDD
MSI R7870-2GD5T/OC Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB

If you need any more information, please let me know!
