On my Macbook Pro 15" 2012 Retina, Google Chrome displays plain text with bad kerning. It's only Chrome, Firefox doesn't have the issue, and I haven't made any changes that I'm aware of. I just booted up my computer one morning, and all my Chrome text displayed like that. It only happens with plain text. If I'm viewing wordpress, for example, the text is fine, but if I view anything with a .txt extension for example, it looks like the first picture.

Just tried that per your request. When that didn't work, I attempted to uninstall and reinstall Chrome again, problem remains unresolved.
