Internet connection problems

Hi, happy holidays. Just bought my son a computer with built in wifi. It's called out as a wireless adapter 802.11 bgn 1t1r. Connecting to the internet is no trouble while surfing the web but when he logs on to any of his on line games he his kicked off the net. Anybody got any ideas what could be causing this or who I should be contacting regarding this issue? I bought it thru newegg, it's an ibuypower atlas.

For most games, you can't be logged into them on the old computer and the new one at the same time.
With "Steam" for example, he would have to configure it on the old computer so that it does not start with windows.

Are there any particular error messages that you see when this happens?

Thanks, didn't know that. I was always just OCD about making sure I logged off the other one first.
