So I got a ASUS M5A97 R2.0 for christmas and went ahead and installed it. After everything was in place i plugged my PC back in turned it on and failed to recieve any video output.
I looked aroud in my case and saw that my graphics card's (Radeon Sapphire HD 7770 GHz edition) fan wasnt turning on so I unplugged everything and took a second look inside of my case and made sure everything was plugged in correctly.
After about an hour of messing around and constant reboots I decided to call the motherboard manufacuter and was told to run my PC without a case so i did. After doing this my cideo card worked no problem so i knew it was a problem with how i set the mobo in my case
After hours of moving things around i finally got it to work but sadly i dont know what i did.
So I woke up this morning and turned in my pc (Last time i used it was last night and i definayely havnt moved it at all since) and i had the same problem.
Ive been trying to solve this for hours but i just cant get it to work. Any help/advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Personally it has to be the case if everything works out side of the case its the case .. something is shorting it out. I would consider a different case motherboards typically dont come with stand offs the cases do. I dont know how i feel about a case with built in standoffs. because I have to say I'm pretty sure thats the issue.

My motherboard didnt come with any standoffs and i didny realy think i needed them considering how my old mobo worked fine and i have plastic pieces from the case pushing on my mobo to keep it from touching the case
EDIT: Ok. I can almost positively say that my case doesnt require standoffs.
I did some googling and found out that these weird "bumbs" that my screws go into work as built in standoffs.
Sadly my problem still persists :(
