Hey T's H,

I just built a computer with an ATI Radeon 4350 graphics card. I'm trying to use the HDMI output to connect it to a JVC "Genessa"... It works alright, but the edges of the picture are slightly cut off on all sides. I've looked through the settings on the actual screen and can't seem to find anything that does the trick. I've also downloaded CCC for the graphics card but there are no options regarding my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

~Alex

In your TV menu there will be a setting for overscan. Try turning it off and that should do it :)

On CCC, try to go to My Digital Flat-Panels then Scaling Options (Digital Flat-Panel).

If you get a blurry screen after that, try to set the Scaling Options to 0% then change your screen refresh rate. I can be found in CCC. You could also try Right-clicking your desktop > click Screen Resolution > Advance settings > Click the Monitor Tab, and change the screen refresh rate there.

Unfortunately some TVs don't have the option which is stupid. I know you can adjust the overscan setting in nVidia control panel but I'm not sure about AMD/ATI. I'm sure there is somewhere.

On my CCC, I have no My Digital Flat-Panels tab. I'm attempting a re-install right now and will get back to you.

could be overscan on the TV or the CCC. Look in the input setting on the TV and adjust H x W (the height and width) to correct the problem. These TV's aren't really optimized as PC screens...My 32" vizio HDTV has all kinds of problems with HDMI and works great with VGA/DVI

Try setting your screen refresh rate first using the steps I gave which doesn't need the use of CCC. That might fix the problem right away. Might need to update your CCC while at it.

What OS are you using by the way?

Re-installed CCC, works great now with all tabs. Did the scaling options from within that.
Thank you all for the help!

Just like Beezy said, you might want to also use DVI/VGA. That might fix the problem right away.
