I currently have a:
300W PSU
AM3 MOBO
Radeon 4670
Athlon II 265
4Gb DDR3 1333 RAM (PC3 10600 9-9-9-24)

Will probably need cooler after upgrade

I'm trying to save on RAM if possible buying similar RAM so i don't need to buy new say 1600mhz or more, unless if needed, that way i'll just add 4 more gigs instead of brand new 8gbs.

It's for gaming on my 1400x900 monitor.

My cart on newegg currently has these:
MOBO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Thoughts on it?

I'd highly suggest an upgraded PSU and graphics card.

Yes, I wouldn't recommend building a gaming computer with a 6 year old graphics card. The newer ones require a higher PSU, which is why I'd recommend you to upgrade both.

My opinion is to not buy any of those, but newer ones.

Ugh, you're impossible to talk to. It's fine but there are better ones. If I were you I'd atleast get 8GB RAM though.

I'm trying to help you, jeez.

Are you kidding me? I know there are better ones! Did you not read the 550$ part? Did you not see the extra 4Gb RAM on my cart making it 8GBS TOTAL!?

It's like someone asking your opinion on buying a VW Beetle or a Jetta, and you go like: "Dude, why don't you buy a Porsche?"

Look, I'm just trying to help you because it seems like no one else does.

Make sure your old and new RAM chip set works together..

I see no problem at all with your new build. I was not going to post because I hate having to click links to see what parts are when you could have just copied/pasted the part name with the link. ;)

Power supply is excellent.
CPU, motherboard, RAM and graphics cards are all fine for a budget gaming build.
At 1440 x 900 it should perform very solidly allowing you to max most games.

Next time post the part name in the thread with the links. Quite a few of us older members just see a link and go on to the next thread. Too time consuming to click 100 links a day to help 10 people when reading the part name in the thread takes 2 seconds.

But glad I could help! :)
