How can i see if my graphics card is broken?

When i use my graphics card my computer doesnt display anythign but when i dont it does display something. It runs and everythign runs when its in i plug it into it and i tried different monitors and it didnt work. If someone can also tell me how to make my computer not automatically detect the graphics card on windows 8 then please tell me. thank you

yes the fan runs and it makes the sound it always did when it succesfully powered up

also is there another way to check. i have it hooked onto my computer running and the display is working its jst that when i plug it into the video card it doesnt work it also i disabled the pci express because it wouldnt show the display so it doesnt load prom the pci unless i tell it to
 
If you have PCIe disabled, connect the monitor to the motherboard's video port (if it has one) rather than the graphics card.

Otherwise you will need a functioning graphics card to see anything at all.

Maybe test it on another computer. Just remember to enable PCIe if you want to see if the card is functioning.

well thats exactly what im saying when i enable it i cant see anything. When i disable it thats what i do . I also dont have another computer to test it on

i just used the warranty on the graphics card and still it doesnt display anything. I have no idea why. I know my power supply works for it because it used to work but as soon as i restored it it stopped working.
