What's a good usb or PCIe wifi card that will work with any router

I have begun my gaming pc build and I need a wifi card. I have no knowledge on the wifi subject and I just want a sub 20$ wifi card that I can play games with and will work with an wireless router. Any suggestions?

Almost all wireless cards work with all wireless routers that is why there are standards that they must follow. Pick one that has similar features to your router.

That said even a $100 wireless card will not play games well. All wireless is subject to random interference which causes large random issues with online games. You want to go with a ethernet cable directly between the PC and the router to get good gaming experience.
