weird bf4 fps drops on brand new r9 series amd card!?

just got a new msi r9 270x hawk edition. i get 60fps running bf4 at 1080p on ultra settings without aa although my gpu is slightly overclocked and in game i will get huge spikes where my fps will go from 60 to the 20-28fps range, even when i lower the settings to as low as they can go i still get these huge drops. please help, if any of my parts are faulty i need to know so i can return them while their warranty is still in place!!!

Have you done the DX Fix? Seems to work for some, not for others...

"Ive heard that this works for some people. But alot of people seem to STILL be experiencing this issue.

*Possible Fix*
Go to the HDD that your BF4 is isntalled. For me its (E: ) / If you have one HDD, Yours will be (C: ) / X86 for 64bit OS / Program Files for 32bit

Go to Computer / E / Program Files (x86) / Origin Games / Battlefield 4 / _Installer / Directx / redist / and run DXSETUP

Might work, Might not"
