Can't install Windows 8

I just built my first pc, when i try to install windows via dvd with an iso i already successfully installed on another comp with it, the windows logo will show up and it will have a loading symbol, then just a black screen for 3-4 minutes untill it reboots.

Did you set the boot priority to DVD? What hardware do you use? Any overclocking or XMP profile? Set your BIOS to optimized defaults before you proceed.

you might try running it from a usb stick. Google making a bootable iso from a USB stick. it works really well, and could be the simplest solution
