Hi I was just wondering if it is safe to overclock my CPU. My CPU is currently clocked at 3.3 GHz and I know that is not a lot so I really want to up that to something higher if it is safe. I am pretty sure my motherboard can support this. Also if this is safe how high up should I go and what precautions should I take I have never overclocked my CPU before. Thanks

Yes definitely get the Hyper 212. It's a great CPU cooler and you should get good overclocks. I'm can't tell you for sure what you can get because each CPU is different but you'll have a good overclock nonetheless.

Do you have the stock cooler or an aftermarket one? You should never overclock with the stock cooler and yes its safe to overclock as long as you keep an eye on your temps making sure they dont go up too high.
