New build; SC2 on extreme?

Hi all. Just purchased a new build.

AMD FX Vishera 8 Core 4.0 GHz
ASus Radeon R9 280x
G.Skill Ripjaw X Series 16 GB 1600 MHz

Those are the important things. I have a solid ASus mobo as well but I can't recall the actual model.

Essentially, with these specs will I be able to run it on extreme with 1920 x 1080 at 1080p?

well, starcraft 2 system requirement is
• Windows Vista®/Windows® 7
• Dual Core 2.4Ghz Processor
• 2 GB RAM
• 512 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800 GTX or ATI Radeon® HD 3870 or better

so, you system more than just enough to run that game in extreme with 1920 x 1080 at 1080p...

Basically, I'm freaking out. I've read everywhere that Intel is just the best for SC2, which I understand because of hyper threading, but at the same time, with my GPU and other specs, shouldn't I be able to run it on extreme? I also understand that SC2 is not the only thing I'll be doing, since I do make music with FL Studio and obviously do lots of homework, but I guess I'll just be frustrated if I can't play it after the build. Would it be recommended that I just return the build for an Intel build?
