I recently purchased an amd processor that came with a cooling unit for it is there any way to adapt the cooling unit to also cool my gigabyte gtx 770 graphics card?

No your graphics card has a cooler on its own and also if you somehow did that its is highly probable that the CPU would fry or crash every 20 seconds

How foolish of me to forget.the most.important part. The cooling unit is a liquid cooling unit.

If its custom built you can connect the liquid tank to both the CPU (with a compatible socket) and the GPU.
Keep in mind that in order to put liquid cooling into the GPU you need a custom cooler with the required pipes and sockets.

Better build a liquid cooling unit on your own. There are guides all over the internet.
