I have a device that doesnt have a wireless card in it, nor can it take one. It can only connect with a Ethernet cord. My wireless router is on the other side of the house, and I dont really want to run a 600 foot cord to it. I figure theres a device out there that I want, but I dont know what its called. I want it to connect to my wireless signal from my router, and allow me to plug into it with a Ethernet cord. Is that an access point, extender, or something else?

Edit - the 600 ft was an extreme exaguration. I guess I should have been more clear. Its just from one corner of the house to the other corner, upstairs.

Does anyone have a link to a product that I can buy that would accomplish this task for me?

Some "extenders" claim to do this. What you actually want is called a client-bridge. They used to be sold as a wireless gaming adapter because older game consoles only connected via ethernet. I hope you do not really need to go 600ft there is no device including cable (limited to 300ft) that can go that far. You would have to use fiber optic cable.
