I own one of these and in my opinion this is the best sound card that has come from Creative yet, the surround gaming audio is superb, and it's music playback as well!

What you linked is like the low end of sound cards, pretty much you get what you pay for, but will be better than your ASRock M/B on board audio and unless you actually use a discrete sound card to hear what you're missing you'll always wonder.
