Overclocking r9 270 vs gtx 660

I know the r9 270 performs better at stock clocks, but what happens if you overclock? Which does overclock better and which gains more performance if done so?

how well the card overclocks depends on the quality of the cooler.

Then I guess you should get the R9 270, since it performs better.

It's not like Nvidia video cards overclock better than AMD video cards.

The r9 270 is 7% better on 1080p as i read some reviews as well.

Since they are the same price and the 270 is significantly faster, get the 270. The msi gaming series cards overclock fairly well and I think between the 270 and the 660, the 270 should overclock better
