Compiter is working realy slow

I have a computer with this specifications:

i7 2,8GHz
HD 6850
8GB RAMAsus
P7H55

I have it for almost 2 years, at the start computer was working fine and all games were working without any problems. But now for like half a year computer is realy slow, old games like COD2 are laging so i can't play any game. I reinstaled Windows cleaned the dust from components but it's still working realy slow. So where is the problem?

Could you provide the statistics from a free application like OpenHardwareMonitor that will provide a useful starting point with regards to the load of components?

That is what it looks like to me some good brand of thermal past is Arctic silver, Thermalright Chill Factor III, OCZ Freezer Extreme and IC Diamond 7

Before you apply this get some 95% isopropyl rubbing alcohol and clean the cpu get rid of all the gunk and old thermal paste then clean the heat sink in the same manner. Let the dry before you apply the thermal paste.
