Upgrade from a Hd 7870 to Gtx 770

Morning all,

I have been looking for a few weeks at upgrading my HD 7870. Im running a 23inch monitor at 1080p and do not intend to go any higher or multiple screens.

I just got the EVGA GTX 770 from amazon with some gift vouchers.

Will this futureproof my system for a couple of years?

I5 - 3750K
16Gb Corsair 1600MHZ Ram
Corsaix cx600 Series PSU
240GB Samsung SSD
500GB HD

Of course this is future proof. GTX 770 is a very good GPU and you have a very good choice.

See if you can upgrade your HDD then it will be better.

thanks both. I was tempted to get the 780 but its just too much money.

The new 9 series is a bit too power heavy for my PSU.

Its coming tomorrow so hoefully all will go ok
