So here is my problem,
I just got my new monitor today, I connected it to my system (via the DVI cable that came with the box, not the VGA cable that also came with the box).
I used to play on an older screen not being able to display more than 1280x1080 - 60HZ.
The new Asus one can display up to 1920x1080 - 120Hz (according to the specifications).
I have my monitors in a dual setup, I can drag my mouse from 1 monitor to the other.
The older monitor is still set at normal settings (1280x1080 - 60Hz), the new Asus one is set at (1920x1080 - 60Hz). I noticed that the Asus monitor was set at 60 Hz so I tried to change it but the list wouldn't go higher than 60Hz.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I heard that it might be a GPU issue so here is the name of my GPU:
- ATI Radeon 5850 1GB
I hope that someone can help me out with my problem!
