Ok, so I'm getting random lag and poor performance in 50% of games I play of cod Ghosts. I'm running a b75m-d3h rev. 1.1, i7 3770 non k, 2x4gb Kingston 1600mhz hyperx blu, asus GTX660 Ti Oc'd to (core clock 1100, mem clock 6100) and a Kingston v200 ssd hard drive. All drivers are up to date, bios is up to date and still getting strange lag and performance drops. On my windows experience rating my hard drive gives me the worst rating, should I upgrade that first, I was going to buy a new SSD and some faster ram to c if that helps.
ps... I have tried increasing bclk to 105 and back to 100 with little change in performance.

RAM isn't that expensive these days (as it used to be), that board you are using has 4 DIMM slots and goes up to 32 GB, and right now you are only using two slots with 8 GB, you can add 8 more GB of RAM, and along with an SSD, you should see noticed improvement.

The other option would be to switch to a GTX 760 or higher... which would put you in at about $300 plus.

If money is no issue with you, then I would buy a new video card, a GTX 760, or better yet a GTX 780. If you don't have $300-$400 to spend, you can always throw more RAM at the system.

my computer never uses more then 60 % of my ram while gaming and I have pagefile turned off. But it does say the game is using 1.6 - 1.8 gigs of my ram, that's why I assumed getting a faster set of ram would help. I honestly think i'm going to systematically replace my system starting with the Samsung pro ssd and the tridentx ram I ordered. gonna sell the old stuff and put it towards a motherboard that's built for gaming, so I can overclock once I replace my cpu. lol fun fun
