Lower fps on low spec games than high spec? 2 graphics cards

Hello, my laptop comes with 2 graphics cards
my GeForce GTX 770M and a integrated HD graphics 4600, I think lol sorry im not that good at

tech but anyways,I have the option of choosing what to use on each game but on the games that

dont need a high performance graphics card it runs slower when I use it than when I use the

weaker graphics card but when i play games that need a stronger graphics card the high

performance graphics card is better. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? so my high performance

graphics card runs even faster on these softer games?

That's not entirely true. Many laptops that have both a dedicated NVidia graphics card and an Intel integrated card support a technology called NVidia Optimus (http://www.nvidia.com/object/optimus_technology.html). This allows the computer to switch between graphics cards depending on what the user is doing. The transition is seamless and instantaneous in windows. For example, if a user is just browsing the web, Optimus will disable the NVidia card and only use the Intel card to save power. Once the user starts up a game, Optimus should switch cards to the more powerful NVidia card automatically. By disabling the Intel card all you will achieve is worse battery life when using non-gaming applications.

I would suggest making sure you have the latest graphics drivers from NVidia. I had simular issues with my Optimus-enabled machine out of the box and installing the latest drivers fixed the problem.

yes my pc does that and i had my drivers updated originally but it was the same as it is now,my pc ran into a problem and it reverted back a little though

what do you need me to post? the whole dxdiag is too much to fit.
