Hey guys,

I'm on the final leg of my build!
And I'm working on my cable management and hooking everything up and I came to my GPU, it's a gtx770 gigabyte 4gb and has the 2 connectors on top. I have a Thermaltake blue 2.0 750w PSU. The cables that run from the gpu both are 8 pin format and then they run to a 3 pin molex at the other end... Besides being disappointed that the cables aren't wrapped in a black sleeve they are also very short :( but back to the point. I know that sata power supply cables often have molex connectors on them as well can I use on of this cables to go from the gpu molex to the psu for my gpu's power? Or is there another way? Thanks guys!

Solution
If your power supply has the required connectors I would only use them as there will be no extra connections to get loose. It does have the 4 6+2 power connectors I referred to correct? Use them and just hold on to the other connectors. They are provided in case the user doesn't have a well equipped or adequate psu. Not the case for YOU!

Not sure I understand the question, the Thermaltake blue 2.0 750w PSU has 4 - 6+2 gpu power connectors so you should be able to just plug them up, no adapters needed. If you don't have them I'm also pretty sure that the card came with a 2- 4 pin molex connectors to an 8 pin gpu connector so if you only have 1 8 pin (or 6+2) connector you should use the provided adapter. If you don't have enough molex connectors you will need to buy a dual sata to 8 pin gpu connector. Does this answer your question?
