It may not even need upgrade, all mainboard manufacturers usually have a website for you to download updates if needed. If there is an update available, the manufacturer will have a utility that will update it for you which will be found somewhere in the download section of their support site. It's very important that you only download for the specific model of your mainboard. Trying to flash a non compatible bios to your board could permanently damage it.

Download and Install CPUz.
you'll find the model name of your motherboard under mainboard tab.

You unzip the tool and bios, exute the tool and with it select the bios, then update

Unzip both files. Double click the one that ends with exe and follow the directions

According to Asus the only differance with the new bios is better campatibility with certain cpu's. Are you having campatibility issues with cpu
