Building a gaming oriented pc and just can't decide..I already have a midi pc case,an HDD, monitor and peripherals and a Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB OC Edition.Budget is 400 euro but can stretch to 430 euro tops. Now i'm thinking between these builds/parts:

AMD:
CPU:fx 6300 (106e) or fx 8320 (138e)
MOBO:Asus M597 R2 (79e) or Gigabyte 990FXA-D3 (118e)
RAM:G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 cl9 (72e)
PSU:XFX PRO 550W (60e)
Cooler: Optional CM 212 hyper evo (35e)

Intel:
CPU:i5 4570 (176e) or i5 4670k (212e)
MOBO:Gigabyte B85M-HD3 (70e) or Asrock Fatal1ty H87 (90e)
RAM:G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 cl9 (72e)
PSU:XFX PRO550W (60e)
Cooler: Optional CM 212 hyper evo (35e)

Considering my GPU would it be a waste to go for the pricey parts? My resolution is 1680x1050 and i would like a config that could support this and higher end gpus in the future without being an overkill.Next to the parts are the best prices i found from the shops i intend to use. What do you think?

The amd build without the optional cooler will be fine. And the motherboard supports the fx 8350 if you wanted to upgrade in the near future. there will be no bottlenecks with this build :D

For the 7850 stick with the 6300 wont get any bottlenecks no point in going foe the 8320. In the future if you want a upgrade a 8320 will be a nice boost to performance.

Sorry didnt realise you had 2 mobos xD Go with which ever mobo is cheaper from the shop you are getting it from they both support your processor :)

Well Gigabyte 970a-ud3 is at 84 euros so it's possible..Is it ok for a little oc say 4 ghz in the future? If i go amd i think i'd better take the cooler too...I'm looking for something that can support a better gpu in the future but i don't want to spend too much in a cpu+mobo..

If your going to et the 8320 your gonna need a bios update just for your info if you decide to take that path

4.0ghz is plenty safe as that is just matching FX 8350 speeds. I am currently running an FX 8320 in my AMD rig at 4.0ghz. I just changed the multiplier to 20 and left everything else on auto. I won't go any further because I have the cheap 760g Gigabyte board and it really isn't made for overclocking but supports FX 8350. It was all I could afford at the time and that system is just an extra for WoW when friends and family are over to play so FX 8350 speeds are good enough. Average overclock is around 4.5-4.6, if I remember correctly for FX 8320. FX 8350 is just a multiplier overclocked FX 8320.

Depends on the revision of the board. All new ones should be the latest rev. OP, check revision before you buy, if at all possible. Rev 3.0 ud3 doesn't need a bios update, older revisions will.

So I assume that with a 8320 and an under 100 euro mobo and my 7850 i'm good to go for say 4 years right?I don't plan on playing everything maxed out and if i upgrade to a better gpu in the future the 8320 won't much bottleneck it?What about my other parts (ram, psu)?

No you will be fine for the next 4 years with that cpu :) it wont bottleneck any of the current cards out at the moment.

Your ram and psu are fine everything else is fine :) your all good to go.

I play games like mass effect series, witcher series, skyrim and single player rpgs and sports sims..Since even my old nvidia 9800 gt played all these games i guess the 7850 will have no problem in the future..Even with high end titles i think it will be ok in medium settings!

And something more about motherboards..There are so many of them!Is there any major difference between 970 and 990 chipsets?I don't care about crossfiring..I found a gigabyte 990xa-ud3 rev 3 for 100e and i'm thinking if it's worth the extra money over the 970a-ud3..Sorry if I tire you guys but i'm a little confused here and it's a big purchase for me :)

I also noticed that no one here recommended the intel build!I'm saying that because from my search i'm also tempted with the asrock fatal1ty h87 performance + i5 4670k with some more money..I'm very positive about the amd build but just saying!Maybe i don't need this and i should just use the amd and upgrade my gpu when the time comes...

Amd is better for your cheaper type of build. I have no issues with intel but intel shines when it come to powerful builds. I think their lower tier and mid tier parts a overpriced and amd is better for what you want.
