Trying to build my first pc

Ok so this is the hardest thing for someone to do build a gaming computer that'll give good fps on high settings for not much money
I'd say run a lga1155 board, and make sure you get a k model CPU so you can over clock and get ever bit of performance for your dollar
The graphics card well look at a gtx660 preferably a 4gb but if you can't afford that 2gb will do
For ram remember speed doesn't make much of a difference 1333mhz vs 2400mhz is 2-3fps diff so I'd say maybe go 16gb of 1600mhz for future proofing
For the psu go on thermaltake psu calculator and find out what wattage you'll use then choose a good quality psu don't go cheap here focus on brands like thermaltake, corsair, silverstone and the likes (stay away from cooler master horrible customer service)
And look at a 110gb Samsung Evo ssd for OS and games and then have a 720gb hdd for documents and movies
With this set up you should be getting around 35-50fps on most games on high or ultra and on games like crysis 3 you should be getting around 30-35 on medium with AA off. So still playable
