what settings should i play on for bf3?- - - and Also a little information about dayz please.

I have an AMD Athlon II X4 750K Black Edition and 8gb of ram and also a gtx 650ti and I would prefferably like to be getting 60 fps on average. Wondering what settings I should be playing on.

Also for dayz I only average around 20 fps with most things on low. I'm looking to put around £200-£300 into my pc and wondering what would be the best upgrade to get more fps from this and other game titles.

play at 720p or turn off everything that looks like "antialiazing"

in order to keep up with the other parts it would be better to buy something like an fx 6300, but this would also require to buy a new motherboard, so nah

NOTE: The solution that i suggested was based on your question. If I were you, I would either make some compromizes to the resolution, rather than create an unbalanced system.

How about selling your cpu, motherboard and gpu to someone else in order to increase your bugdet?

The settings you'll most likely play BF3 at a mix of medium to low at 1680*1050. As Tonyzet pointed out, to have better performance, you'll need to upgrade your computer. BF3 is a very system taxing game. Thus a good CPU and GPU are needed. You just don't have the parts to play on High @1080.

Before you get into parts to buy, what is your complete build?

I'd try upgrading the GPU to a 260x/270x since Radeon GPUs are optimized for BF3/BF4.
