Hello,

So i recently got a new issue with my PC, and i was hoping someone had some idea on how i can fix it. I brought my PC to a friends house a couple weeks ago, and ever since i brought it back to my house the wifi doesn't work when my PC is on. It's not a signal issue, and it is only my PC, The other PC's in the house can be on with no problems. Even if my PC isn't connected to the internet, and i physically remove the Ethernet cable. the issue still happens. As soon as my PC is turned on, the Wifi doesn't work for anyone with any device. Have tried using 3 different wireless devices and none of them work unless by PC is off. Any tips to fix this issue? Might it be caused by an IP issue? Thanks for you're help.

Extra Information that might be needed, There are 2 other PC's in the house that use wired connections not including my own PC . And i use a router/modem provided by my ISP (Verizon Wireless)

You have to turn your wireless on; consult your manual or an online version of the manual. What brand and model is your computer?

If you don't have a physical switch, many machines use the Fn key and an F key like Fn + F2 or F3 or F8 -- take a look at the F keys and one may have a little wireless radio picture on it.

First, open your network control panel, manage wireless networks and delete your home network, then restart your computer and allow the machine to re-discover your network, then enter the key and check the auto connect box.

If that fails, try changing the wireless adapter MAC address using this free app: HERE.

Thanks for a reply. I did not try the second thing you mentioned, but as for the wireless networks when i go to that program it does not say that i have a wireless network at all. It says "Wireless is not currently enabled." Any advice on how to take it from there?
