help overclocking first time

i have the crosshair v formula z. with AMD 6300 FX Cpu. I got the corsair hydro 50 for the cpu water cooler and I got the nzxt phantom 820 case with 2 additional fans

current cpu speed 3500mhz
memory frequency 1333mhz but I have crosshair vengeance ddr3 8gb 2133mhz
not sure what I should change to for best performance could anyone help me please
graphics card I got the xfx r9 270x radeon

Ik 2133 Mhz RAM will not help you at all. As for the CPU FX-6300 Overclock, you can get on that cooler up to or around a 4-4.7 Ghz overclock. I have the same CPU. Although the RAM won't help you, I would suggest switching the Clock speed to it's advertised version by going into the BIOS or Control Center for your Motherboard.
