When I record I set my FPS capped at 60. I reach 150+ In every game I play so obviously there is no lag and my PC is good enough to record. I know fraps/dxtory will lower your FPS but when I record i am solidly staying at 60 then randomly drop to 25-30. I get the studder/dip even on the lowest setting. Could it be that I get the stutter because I am playing and recording to the same Hard drive?(No SSD)

Could also be a memory leak in your recording program. Generally you want a drive dedicated to media apart from the OS drive. Check your memory usage while recording, if it maxes out its a memleak, otherwise try using a seperate drive for recording.
