Advice about configuration for gaming PC

Hey, I'm gonna buy a gaming PC... A dealer has setup this configuration for me:

8 core amd processor
8 gb ddr3 ram
2 gb 650 nvidiea GraphicsCard
Asus Motherboard with inbuilt 1gb GraphicsCard
1tb Hdd

Do you think its good enough to play the latest games at their best resolutions?? Any addition or modification would be helpful. I know its not very specific.. sorry about that.

a 660ti would work. Also the 7870 may work. Exept it may not last very long in a few years youll find...

which amd core do you think is better?? and how about nvidia 660gtx as the GC?

well if you have the extra money i would say the 8350 is better but if you are on a budget you can run an 8320 and still get ultra in every modern game with no gpu bottlenecks.

For the graphics card i reccomend a 700 series minimum or if you want to go amd a 270 minimum.

I think a 700 series GC would be out of my budget. Are you sure nvid 660gtx or amd hd 7870 won't provide the same performance?
