Here are my specs:
AMD FX 6300
Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard
Gigabyte R9 270 Graphics Card
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
430w Corsair CX PSU

The monitor states no signal is coming through. Also, the fans on my graphics card are not spinning. The graphics card has 2 x 6 pin PCI slots, but the PSU being a low wattage one, has only 1 x 6 pin PCI connector.
Fortunately, I had a molex to 6 pin adapter which I used to connect the Psu's molex cable to the Graphics card.

There is no display/fan activity. Please help!

Solution
I think your PSU isn't enough to power up your system. It may be because you don't get enough power for the card on those 2 combined PCI slots, I'm not sure tho.

download the newest bios file 1801. look at the last four numbers of the mb serial that the bios rev of the mb if it real low.
use the bios renamer tool and a usb stick use the usb flashback port to flash your bios with the power off.
on the mb edge make sure the 4/8 pin power port is plugged in. if it is and the bios is updated try a low wattage gpu to see if the power supply cant output the wattage needed to power on your rig.

Just checked the Graphics card on the Manufacturers website and it said I would need at least 500w PSU. Thing is, when I selected all the parts, the part picker website said "No compatibility issues". I guess that's my fault for not checking each individual component. Thanks.
