i've set up my netgear extender correctly - whole set up worked perfectly and the green light is showing on the extender. however when I click onto the extender's wireless, although it says i have full signal i am not able to get any internet/load anything etc. my original wireless still works but the booster doesn't work so there is no improvement in the rooms with less signal. what should i do?

Are you certain that the extender is connected to your wireless router?
Did you give the extender a different SSID than your other wireless network? I find it useful to give it a different name so that I know which access point I am actually connected to.

Extenders rarely work well, and are about the last possible choice. Try moving it closer to your router and consider your radio channel choices -- download and run the free home version of the wifi analyzer inSSIDer from HERE. Look under the network tab to see what networks are on what channels and the signal strength. The idea is to avoid the other strong signals.
