Hey,

So i recently bought a gtx 650 ti and a 40 watt antec powers supply. so i plug in my graphics card and my powers supply but there was no display. so i unplugged the pci e 6 pin and the display came on but the gpu didnt work (obviously it didnt have power). so i thought it was the psu so i went to buy a new one, this time a 550 watt from antec. i plug in the 6 pin pci e connecter and the same thing happened no display. so at this time i thought it was the gpu so i returned it and got a xfx r7260x. i plugged in the 6 pin pci e cable and the same thing happened no display. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

My specs windows 8 64 bit lenovo idea center k410 8 gb ram intel pentimum

Hi, "so i plug in my graphics card and my powers supply but there was no display. so i unplugged the pci e 6 pin and the display came on"
I guess that you left the monitor connected to he onboard. You have to connect it to the graphics card.

Then check in BIOS the setting for Primary graphics if set to iGPU or PCIe.
