So this is my first gaming pc that I am currently going to build, and I don't know on which motherboard to get I've looked at so many motherboards that have pros and cons, which make me really concerned about them, I don't want a fried motherboard in the next 2 days. Here's my build: I just need help looking for the right mobo for this.

Must be atx
4 ram slots
up to either 32gb or 64
has to have a few 2.0 ports and 2 3.0 ports.

Allow me to do some changes to your build as well:
You'll need a CPU cooler, and nothing better than this one: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2
For about $12, you can have double the storage: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st1000dm003
If you can get past the military looks and the slightly higher price, this is one of the best cases you can get right now: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-case-gx700
And finally for less money, you can get a better GPU: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-hd7790dc2oc1gd5

If you don't plan to overclock there's also this motherboard, but it is worse: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a97ler20

*Brace yourself for a wall of text*
First of all, why would I be needing a CPU cooler even though I am not going to be overclocking? Isn't the heatsink good enough for people that aren't going to overclock? Besides even if I have this build in the future and I plan to overclock, I can just buy the CM Evo and switch it with the heatsink. I would like to thank you for convincing me to getting a different hard drive and a different graphics card, but I intend on keeping the case I have now because of how cheap it is and all the pros about air cooling and cable management, and obviously the price, and I have heard that it's the best beginners case. And I also want to know what is the difference between 1GB on a Graphics card vs 2GB on a Graphics card and why? And also just to be on the save side here is my build again but without the motherboard: Also here's something that really isn't related on the motherboard topic, but is 500Watts enough for this build or should I jump down to 430watts? Both are Semi-modular because that is what I prefer. Thanks!

And I also forgot to tell you that I don't want to have motherboards that are over $100. usually under $70 or $80. Thanks bruh.

You should get a CPU cooler because it makes your CPU cooler than the stock one, which will expand the life of the CPU.
And also, I selected the 1GB 7790 because the 7770 doesn't take advantage of having 2GB.
Your build certainly doesn't need 500W, so you can buy the 430W version.

Ok thanks! I changed the 500w to the 430 corsair cx semi psu 80+ bronze. And I am still looking for a cheap but good mobo :(. And would it make any difference to switch to the plus instead of the evo?

I don't know if you saw the link I put in the end of my other comment, but here it goes: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a97ler20

About the CPU cooler, the Plus is inferior but it wouldn't hurt to have that one instead. But why not go for the Evo?

It's all because of pricing friend. The plus is cheaper than the Evo. Aren't they both the same or something?

and about the mobo you said that one was not going for gaming :(

Yeah it was rated 5 stars too. I'm just wondering if there is a way to make it cheaper but still make it balanced?

Yeah I switched it.

On this spreadsheet under transistor info on the AsRock 970 Pro3, it says 3-transistor what does that mean?
