I am wondering if a z87 mobo will properly work with a i5 2500k processor or does it not support it?
I5 2500k work with z87 mono or not? Need help fast!

No it won't work as lucasz said. According to here (http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Core_i5/Intel-Core%20i5-2500K%20CM8062300833803.html) it is socket 1155. As it says on Tom's (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/MSI-Z87-Prototype-motherboard-mobo,21448.html) the socket for z87 is 1150. The 1155 is before haswell and 1150 is haswell.
