Approximate Purchase Date: Mid to late January

Budget Range: $800 after rebates and after shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Whatever is cheapest.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Florida, US

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: Whatever gives the best price to performance ratio.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1920x1200

I will be playing pretty much any game I can get my hands on, but will play a lot of strategy games and some MMOs. I also want the PC to have a good path for upgrading.

I may be able to get a monitor and OS from a family member so if you don't mind making 2 builds, 1 with OS and monitor and 1 without, that would be great. Both with an $800 budget.

Edit: Just out of curiosity what would a PC that can run any game on max settings with 60+ FPS on 1920x1080 cost? No monitor or OS.
