Thoughts on future build?

Most of my time on the computer is spent editing large HD video footage or gaming. I'm wanting to build my own PC and have put together something; I'm wondering if there's anybody out there who'd like to give me their thoughts and advice on my build. I haven't added any cooling yet as I'm unsure what to go for, but if you see anything worthless or bad please do say so. I'm budgeting at about £1600 GBP.

/* Component List */

Thanks,
Tom.

Your CPU is going to have hard time if you're planning to intensive editing/rendering. I suggest i7-4770k. Drop down to 16GB if you want to save money. Also, you should invest in a SSD. Install your OS,editing program,games,etc in the SSD and you will have easy time booting and loading.

Thank you for your recommendation - I was originally looking at Intel Core i7-4770k but somebody told me that the computer wouldn't even use all of it there was no point. I will take your word for it and upgrade. Ah, that seems like a very clever idea. Do you mind if I ask thoughts on cooling?

The i7-4770k will help you a lot especially while doing intense tasks like editing. The hyperthreading built in the i7 allows you to multi task much smoothly and without stress. If you're not planning to OC, I recommend simple and affordable cooling such as Hyper Evo 212.

OK, great - thank you very much. The Hyper Evo 212 looks very promising, however would you not advise this in the case of over-clocking?

EDIT: I've had a few recommendations for the Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator, however also heard a few complaints that it gets in the way of the RAM slots.

Your stock cooler that arrives with the CPU is fine however your CPU will start to heat up in temperature when you are doing intensive work for long period of time. Reason for the Hyper Evo 212 's investment. The Noctua NH-D14 is a very nice cooler but a bit pricey and yes it's quiet big and you would need to buy a low profile ram in order to fit them.
