Can I upgrade my Dell XPS 410 to play games like Skyrim, BF4, and DayZ?

Basically, I shelled out a ton of money for a Dell XPS 410. Yes, I overpaid, but it's still a decent computer. It plays games like Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Left 4 Dead 2 on medium quality with absolutely no lag, and runs high settings with the occasional stutter in FPS. Here are the specs.

Windows XP Professional
Intel Core 2 CPU 6600 @ 2.4ghz
2GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 7900GS
600 GB Hard Drive

If I change the video card, processor, and upgrade the ram, could it support more advanced games like Skyrim, BF4, and DayZ? If so, would it be cheaper than paying $1,000+ for a completely new rig?

i usely advise no, unless you can see that its been proven to be upgraded heres what i post to folks like you ....

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked'' bios and may not allow you to change certin hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warrenty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you realy need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. but its up to you good luck..

seeing that its a XP days build i would say your better off doing a new build and not do a store bought computer
