Can someone please explain this to me? it's about HAF case

This is the message that I get on pc builder when choosing a motherboard.

Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.

Can you please explain what this is and if I should change to a different mobo. Thanks.

As the message states, your MB has USB 3.0 capability as well as USB 2.0. But the case does not. It only has USB 2.0 ports. However, you can still plug the case's USB ports into the USB 2.0 headers on the MB.

It means you might want to consider changing the case to something that has USB 3.0 ports on the front.

What you have selected will work, but you won't get USB 3.0 speeds from a USB 3.0 capable device connected to the front ports. Anything connected to the front will only operate at USB 2.0 speed.

Basically what it is saying is your case doesn't have any USB 3.0 ports so you don't need a USB 3.0 header. If USB 3 is something you want and you really like that case, adding USB 3 ports is not expensive.

A lot of the MB have USB 3.0, should I just ignore this and stick with this case or do you guys suggest another case?

The HAF 922 is basically the newer version of the 912. The 922 comes with USB 3 ports.

^ That would be the best thing if you want a HAF is to get the one with native USB 3 support.
