Hi guys, so recently my computer has been freezing up ONLY when I play games and I am getting freezes, then black screen with sound looping for about 5 seconds then it just becomes this buzzing sound, then BSOD saying that the attempts to reset display drivers failed. Now I have COMPLETELY removed EVERYTHING related to the graphics and drivers and I have downloaded the drivers on another computer and moved them over, so fresh drivers, same thing. I have tested my other parts over night using Prime95, Memtest 86+, and Furmark. They all passed. All my temperatures are good when under high loads, this only happens when I play games. I have checked my voltage as well. My specs are as follow

AMD FX 4130
PowerColor Radeon HD 7750
AntecVp450
(I don't know the exact model of RAM) 2x 4Gb modules
Windows 7
Western Digital 1 TB (Again I don't know the exact model)

Now here is where I am completely lost. I play games with my graphics card, they freeze and BSOD, I play with my internal graphic, it works great (by that I mean no freezes). So I am 99.99% sure that I need a new graphics card, but one thing keeps coming back making me hesitant. It is the fact that I ran it with Furmark for quite sometime with no problem (people say problems are seen within an hour, I ran it for about 3 with no apparent errors, of course I wasn't there the whole 3 hours but nothing seemed unusual when I came back. So I need help. Is my graphics card messed up? Again I have tested everything and test results show no errors, all temps are good under load, PSU is pumping out good voltages, and the freezes ONLY happen during games. Thank you guys so much.

Sounds like a PSU problem to me. Your PSU doesn't seem to be supplying the require amperage and/or wattage and so it justs cuts off. Suggest upgrading your PSU maybe to an XFX 650W PSU? or cheaper the 550W.

Your current PSU has a dual rail +12V Rail and only supplying 18A to each rail however I think this is a lie, hence the lack of 80 Plus certification. Your PSU does have the require amperage but this could be false advertisement as it seems the PSU you have isn't efficient.. at all

Problem is I could run Furmark for a few hours straight, and if there wasn't enough power, then something would have happened see as how it ran at 99% load, while my games don't require nearly that much

That PSU is plenty for a 7750, you don't even need a 650W PSU for an i5 and a GTX 760 (which could run off a decent 450W unit as well)

It's not 80+ certified, but it's still a decent budget unit from Antec

If there wasn't enough power your system would simply shut off, though it'd be nice if you had spare parts to test it with

Try run something like the Heaven Benchmark and see if it crashes as well

If you need a new GPU, I'd look towards a 7770 or GTX 650 Ti

You said you played with your integrated and it doesn't have the crashing and freezing?

The fact that you got that display driver error would indicate a graphics card problem, and if a clean reinstallation (with driver fusion etc.) didn't help then it'd most likely be your GPU

I wouldn't update the BIOS unless it were a last resort, just like reinstalling Windows

As I have said before I thought like you but ONE thing just kept bothering me, it was the furmark test that just kept creeping back into my mind and I just wanted to see if anyone agreed with me, so you think its the gpu right?

That's what I'd assume, you could try running something like 3dmark or the Heaven Benchmark and see if that crashes as well

If you have a friend to help test your 7750 with, that could help with determining what parts it is one by one
