My laptop keeps crashing (turn off and reboot), even after I have sent it to ASUS for warranty-repairing 3 TIMES. What could cause this?? It doesn't happen on idle(well, rarely). And it isn't overheating.

What is the model number of this laptop? What did ASUS say was the issue with the laptop the previous 3 times? Do you get an error code or is it instantaneous? Do you use a laptop cooler or is this laptop on a hard surface when used?
You can install this program to monitor your temperatures inside of the laptop. Report back you get of it sitting at idle and what it is when it crashes.

Good luck

The model is X53TK. Warranty ended half a year ago I think. I'm not sure if I have the papers I got from Asus repair but I think the problems had something to do with screen and memory ("fixed"). The laptop just goes black like if you held the power button and then boots. I will look for the papers when I wake up and try if it crashes on idle.

So, I haven't been able to make it crash yet but I noticed that my CPU only reaches ~800MHz and not 1.4(2.4 Turbo Boost).

I use it on a cooler.
edit: Or am I supposed to count them together? On my PC I only have 1 reading.
