Hello,
I'm currently running 2 (of the same) monitors through my dvi ports of my GTX 670. When i bought the third (same monitor as the other 2) I had to also buy an etek vga -hdmi scaler to convert from VGA to 1080p HDMI, because my monitors only take VGA/DVI. I've got everything setup and plugged in correctly, but no matter what i do. The GTX 670 doesn't recognize that anything is even connected to the hdmi port!?!

My drivers are up to date.
All monitors are the exact same and all work fine on the dvi ports.

So i've come down to 3 possibilities, its either my hdmi(card) port, hdmi cord or the adapter.

Any suggestion would be awesome
Thanks.

Solution
Yeah, an HDMI to DVI should work, they're both digital. HDMI to VGA doesn't work because HDMI is digital while VGA is analog.

Thanks for the quick response ewok!

I had spent around $45 on the etekcity HDMI converter, based on majority of 5 star reviews on amazon, but alas i'll be sending it back to amazon for my money back. Have any other suggestions for converters? Do they make a hdmi to dvi converter? If so would you recommend that, instead of another VGA converter? Keep in mind i'm trying to run nVidia Surround as well.

Thanks again
