Haswell Z87 vs H87 board quality and layout

I know this has been discussed a lot of times but this one is looking from a different point of view. The outright difference, like they say, is Overclock ability but there are other things that weren't mentioned much officially, when comparing to H87 chipset:

    ■ As Z87 is designed to be OC'kd, does it have better quality parts which are more heat resistant and durable?

    ■ Also some say that Z87 has better layout designed to accommodate cooling components in a better way?


Now are these true? And the big question:
If its true, should a person who doesn't want to overclock or maybe even isnt going to SLI, ignore the extra $$$ and go for Z87 because of these advantages?

Please forgive me if these are silly doubts or rumors, im just a newbie to hardware, looking to build a new rig...
