Hello,

The CPU should be compatible with this 3 mobos:
Asus P9X79 WS
Asrock X79 Extreme6
Asrock X79 Extreme4

I usually dont play with the BIOS, OC, etc. and probably most extra options will be unused. I just want a compatible, solid mobo for a virtualization server (ECC no need). Any recomendations?

Thanks.

Any X79 board should work for that processor, just be sure to check the list of support CPUs on the manufacturers website to be sure. Which board you select should be dependent on how much RAM you will be using and what feature sets you're looking for.

Ok, ill run 64 GB so Asrock X79 Extreme4 is eliminated. Just want it to run 24/7 doing some virtualization.

This is the build:
Xeon E5-2695 v2
64 GB DDR3
Samsung SSD 840 Pro 250
HD 7950
Seagate gold 750 W (or something similar)

Thanks.
