I'm deciding whether to get 760s in SLI or a single 780. They both cost around the same price. I know SLI will increase power draw by 42 watts. Are 42 watts a big difference anyway? Also I am aware that not all games support SLI and some games do not scale very well. But other than those cons, what are some deal breaking cons with going with an SLI solution? Thanks in advance.

If you have to have cutting edge all the time then it probably isn't for you but if you tend to stick with the same setup for a while then you might not need to upgrade until Volta.
