@OP
I think we'll need a bit more information than that. Does your computer freeze completely (i.e. can't move your mouse and nothing is responding) just on the desktop if you're not doing anything or is it only when you're doing certain tasks like the aforementioned gaming and music playing? I had a similar issue and I thought I got handed a lemon of a Mobo when it was in fact an old Creative Audigy PCIE sound card that wasn't widnows 7 compatible.. If you don't have another card in your Mobo i'd look to getting another spare one maybe from a friend's build to test cause it may not be wise to rule out that too early in the process

It freezes completely, so I have to restart when it happens.

So no extra PCIe Cards i take it.. Then pop the cover off your computer (after turning it off) and see if it still happens after moving the RAM sticks. If it still happens boot using only one RAM stick. Also sounds obvious but make sure you are using the same RAM..

Also see if you can narrow down your actions to whether its just random freezes or if it happens when the system is being taxed/worked. A faulty PSU could possibly do something like this to your system

Ok guys, it's been awhile but I fixed it!I had to uninstall and reinstall my athrx.sys drivers because it finally gave me a bluescreen and told me what it was.No problems since I've done it
