The right motherboard for a gaming PC with the nvidia gtx780 graphic card

Hi,

I want to build a gaming PC and I want the nvida gtx 780 graphic card. Which motherboard should I use?

hi,

I have no parts at the moment. The most probably choice for processor will be an intel i5 or i7.

Well depending on the processor's generation, you're looking at an LGA1155 or LGA1150 socket. I'd get an i5 4670k for the processor. A good motherboard would be this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Since you havent finalized on the components maybe you should check out the below build:-
Processor:-Intel Core i7-4770K Processor 3.4 GHz
Motherboard:-ASUS Sabertooth Z87
Memory:-Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2×4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
Graphics Card:-EVGA Nvidia GTX 780-3GB DDR5
Power Supply:-Any good brand above 650 watts
These components are easy to get, not costly also it would be a beast. I am using this build and believe me it runs smooth on all games.
