what the difference between memory that is listed as nt or brl

hi wanted to upgrade memory..i have GSkill F312800CL9S-2GBNT now..wanted 2stick x 2G.
They say its discontinued this stick...
So I looked again..i come up with G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Model F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL Memory (Desktop Memory)
and im wondering I put 2 of these 4GB sticks in to get 8GB ..will this work..?
and what is the difference between the NT and the BRL
will this not work?

Different models the NT series is a longtime value DRAM sries of sticks from GSkill, the Ripjaws Sticks are more of a performance line

That combination of memory should work as the specs are nearly identical.

Can try, there's no guarantee, any time you mix sticks (packages) of DRAM it can and often is problematic, which is why they sell a diverse set of DRAM in different amounts and number of sticks - so you can get the exact amount you want/need
