Hey, so I am upgrading a basic computer from like staples that comes with the bare minimum of good stuff.

I3 3230
Basic mono
Basic case
I bought a new gpu and psu. The psu is a corsair tx650 fits into my case just fine. a little close to being to tight though.

I got a gtx 660. It plugs in and is a really tight fit in my current case. The holding part where it clamps down on the outputs, ( the back side of the case where the outputs stick out) won't clamp down completely so the gpu won't stay put. Also it has these heat bars which are supposed to help with managing heat on the gpu, one or two of the cords on the mobo come into contact with those and no way to go around that.

My question is, will a mid tower case provide enough space for everything? Or will I want to go with a full tower case? Is a standard case considered mid tower? And considering my gpu won't fit in that case will it not fit in another mid tower?

And for these heating pipes on the gtx 660, will anything coming in contact with those be an issue? Common sense seems to think so.

If you need photos of the case and everything that's chiefly on it and the graphics card I can provide those.

The gpu takes up two slots as well. Which is probably why it doesn't fit on my current case. The size won't allow fit the panel to fit around the outputs and blocks the screw slots.
