Mobo: Asus p9x79 le
GPU: gigabyte geforce gtx 760
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
SSD:Kingston SSD Now 300
PSU: Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 700W ATX Power Supply
When I attempt to power on the new build I get the red CPU LED, no POST beep, and nothing displayed on the monitor. The red LED typically means that the bios must be updated for this model of motherboard from what my research has said, but when I plug in the USB drive with the updated P9X79LE.CAP file and hit the button on the motherboard, the green LED blinks once and then stays a solid green color meaning that the BIOS is not being flashed. I tried using both the most recent update (4604) and the one that was designed to make the board compatible with more CPUs (4005). I have double checked my wiring so I am fairly confident that the issue is with the BIOS, but I cannot be sure.
